Prudnik commune located in the southern Polish in Opole Province, on the Czech-Polish border. Located on the border of two geographical regions Głubczycki Plateau and Opava Mountains is the gateway to the most beautiful areas of the Opole region. The background for the city is Kopa Bishops (889m above sea level) and located in a landscaped park areas captivate diversity and richness.
Prudnik is rich in tradition and history dating back to the Middle Ages. The city was founded in the second half of the thirteenth century, at the foot of the medieval fortress, after which still retains a stone castle tower - tower Wok. Until today preserved fragments of the medieval city walls and two brick towers. In the city center representative town hall, historic buildings, baroque statue of St.. John of Nepomuk, the Marian Column and a fountain. Architecture enrich villas whose founder was the founder of the nineteenth century, a vibrant thriving linen factory - Samuel Fränkel.
The municipality has prepared for its guests more than thirty kilometers walking, cycling and horse tourist trails. Fisheries fish, horse riding, towers, and the Shrine of St..
